If you have, or know anyone who has, the above condition, please read and share. I was diagnosed with this condition in 2008 and was treated at the local hospital with steroids of various doses depending on the level of haemolysis (red blood cell destruction), other than blood tests on a regular basis, and despite my best efforts, no other checks/tests were carried out to determine the cause of this condition, the reason I was given by one of my consultants who’s care I was under, was that there are too many possibilities. After about 5 years of trying various other drugs, and being asked to consider a spleenectomy, (thank god I totally rejected that idea) I decided to look on the internet, and found the Liver doctor website. This site gave me some very good, plausible, and it would appear, accurate information, on the possible cause, (leaky gut syndrome)  and natural treatment for this condition - a simple change in diet (raw veggie smoothies) and increased red meat intake appear to have done the trick, after 4 months I am now off steroids altogether, continuing with the advice, and feel much better in myself. My advice to anyone with this condition is to check out the website and give the advice a try, it may work for you, it may not, there are no guarantees in medicine, but for me, doing nothing was not an option, and Dr Cabot and her team at Liver doctor, appear to be getting good results in a variety of issues relating to health. There are currently several problems with our NHS in the UK which are well documented, I often wonder how things would change if our doctors started to identify and treat the underlying causes of medical conditions, as doctors used to do when I was a kid instead of treating the symptoms, after all, how can anyone expect to successfully treat a condition unless the cause is known. Many thanks for running a very good site and your cooperation. Richard M, UK
