"Diabetes Type Two, You can Reverse it Naturally"

The end of my fifth week update:

I lost 8 lbs this week! Wow. That is now a total of over 22 lbs!!! I'm so excited!

My beta blocker I take was at 150 mg a day, divided into two doses, now it's 25 mg once a day. My heart rate is just 62 bpm right now. Wow! (My heart rate was running between 102 and 126 beats per minute when I got put on it! I had worn a monitor for three weeks.)

No more problems with getting short of breath with just brushing my teeth! Now I actually have to be doing something strenuous to get out of breath!

My blood pressure was running pretty high with that top number creeping up close to 200 and the bottom number up close to 100! Now last check it was 116/68!

My long-term insulin (Lantus) has gone from 168 units per day divided into two doses to 20 units per day in one dose!!! That's with also taking the fast-acting insulin (Novalog) going from an average of 25 units per meal to less than 10 units per meal! My blood sugar was running an average of 200 even with all of that insulin and is now down to an average of 120!

My sinus issues have totally cleared up and my allergies are pretty well non-symptomatic.

Big improvements in my IBS again this week! I'm having to not only follow the RVD2 diet, but also eliminate all the FODMAP foods for now. I was having daily severe diarrhea with no relief. I'm taking probiotics and using Intestinal Para-Clean. Let's just say MUCH improved!

I no longer have ANY acid reflux. There was a time when I was constantly hoarse and I had visible signs in my throat of acid reflux!

Again, my mood has greatly improved. I was just coming out of a major depression episode when I finally had the energy to start this new way of eating!

My skin has stopped itching, being diabetic and having psoriasis, but it's all gone.

I'm not having night sweats or over-heating like I was before.

And, the daily headache thing is gone. It's only an occasional thing now...

It really is wonderful that I hardly ever feel hungry anymore at all. Most days I've just been eating two meals a day and one snack. My appetite has shrunk and it's not taking near as much to satisfy me now.

I am sharing all of this so I can appreciate where I've come from following the "Diabetes Type Two, You can Reverse it Naturally" way of eating and perhaps give someone some hope!
