These brownies taste just like your childhood brownies, except packed with healthy fats, omega 3s from the walnuts and are grain free!

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup almond flour
  • ¼ cup tapioca flour
  • ½ cup almond butter
  • 2 eggs, whisked
  • ½ cup melted coconut oil
  • ½ cup cacao or cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ cup roasted walnuts, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons Sweetener of choice: stevia, xylitol, honey, maple syrup or rice malt syrup

Method

  1. Preheat the over to 350ºF.
  2. Place all ingredients into a large bowl and mix well with a wooden spoon.
  3. Pour mixture into a cake or brownie tin and bake for approximately 20 minutes.
