If you love coffee you probably drink too much!
How does this affect your liver?
Well the caffeine must be broken down by the phase one Detox pathway in the liver – so basically too much coffee over works the liver
What is the result of this?
By the end of the day you probably have a thumper pulsating headache, or at least a hint of one coming on.
The best thing to do, is to abort the headache by –
- Drinking 2 large glasses of pure water
- Taking 2 magnesium tablets – this really works
- Getting your friend to massage your temples & neck – good luck!
Of course, we here at Dr Cabot’s head office never drink coffee, we only drink cabbage juice – ha ha ha

If it’s faulty or wrongly described, we’ll replace it.
Coffee, like most foods, has both pluses and minuses.
Many people find that coffee impedes sleep and for them we recommend that none is consumed after early afternoon.
Coffee’s benefit to the liver is independent of when it is consumed.
Many people find it difficult to sleep easily even when restricting coffee consumption and for this Dr Cabot prescribes Magnesium powder or tablets, and Melatonin Sleep Eze.
It is very controversial as to whether coffee consumption at night is directly associated with coffee consumption.
