Liver Doctor understand that your personal health problems and questions are very confidential and we take them seriously and we appreciate that you have trusted us to help you. We know that your health issues may be sensitive and we will treat your data as very confidential and we will be very careful with your information.

We are committed to protecting your personal information and we respect your privacy. This privacy policy explains how your information is used, collected and protected.

We need some basic information from you so we can provide you with tailor made help and health services. We collect data to design relevant information you can read and hear and also to contact you with special deals and new products and new breakthroughs in medical research should you choose to sign up for our newsletters.
We will never accumulate or analyze any personal information about you without your consent. The only personal information we accumulate is what you provide us about yourself and how you use our sites.

Registration
When you register on our site, we collect practical information such as your email address, telephone number, first name and surname. If you register this gives you access to use our proprietary features, including our health quizzes, health assessments, newsletter content and naturopathic services.

Health Advice
If you contact our medical doctors, nutritionists and naturopaths for your personalized health and lifestyle advice, you may need to know some of your medical history and present health problems. This enables our advisors to provide you detailed and specific information that can be more helpful to you. Our staff are all highly trained and qualified and respect your privacy.

Your Feedback
We love to get feedback from you about our sites. Your feedback enables us to understand the needs of our users and to gather information about emerging health problems and public health issues. We may store answers but they are not linked to identifying information about you. We do not share answers with third parties.

Competitions
When you enter a competition on our site, we may ask you to provide additional information or answer certain questions. We may contact you in connection with a particular competition to update you regarding your status, let you know that a competition has ended, and for other competition-related messages.

2. Third party disclosure

We do not supply or sell your personal information to third parties. When completing the livercare questionnaire the information provided is only saved in the system for a maximum of 10 days for you to download your results and then deleted, with the exception of your email address, telephone number, first name and last name. We will never use or disclose any information about you without your consent. There may be exceptional circumstances where this may not be possible, such as if disclosure is required by law or is necessary to protect the rights or property of Liver Doctor, or any member of the public, or to lessen a serious threat to a person’s health or safety.

Competitions
Information collected from a competition may be disclosed publicly. We may need to share it with a provider(s) of prizes in order to let you know if you have won or let you know that a competition is finished. If we need to share this data, we will let you know when we collect your data.

3. Your Choices

When we ask you for personal information you have the choice not to provide it. If you decide not to provide it, this could mean that our website services will not function efficiently for you.

Your data

You can update your profile information such as email address, phone number, address if you so desire by logging in using the email address and password with which you registered

Cancelling your membership
You can choose to cancel your membership at any time by contacting us or deleting information that you have entered on our site. After you have cancelled your membership you will not be able to sign into the site to view or access any information you may have saved or created on the site.

Your Emails to Us
Emails that you send to us from our sites or links we provide, may be shared with one of our health advisors, our IT expert or your customer service representative. These people are our employees and are not outside parties. If your email contains personal health information, it will only be used to provide an answer to your email request for health problems or customer service.

Your Friends
If you invite your friends to visit our site, or if you share any of our content via our forward to a Friend feature, we will send your friend an email on your behalf. Your friends’ email address will never be used for any other reason.

Email Alerts
As a Liver Doctor member, you can choose to receive weekly email newsletters, special deals and conference alerts. If you decide that you no longer want to receive these things you can click on the “unsubscribe” button/link at the bottom our online newsletters.

4. We utilize leading and well recognized security measures

We go to great efforts to protect the security of your electronic information which is stored on secure servers that are protected in controlled facilities. Our employees have limited access to your personal information. Any employee who uses your information for the wrong reasons will have their employment terminated.

In this day and age of possible Internet crime and fraud we cannot guarantee the security of communications over the Internet. Thus like all e-commerce businesses and/or websites that collect information, it is impossible for us to provide an absolute guarantee that your information will be secure at all times.

Liver Doctor cannot and will not be held responsible for events arising from any unauthorized access to your personal information.

Future Improvements
Our privacy policies will be reviewed regularly with the aim of improving them if needed.

We aim to develop innovative content and services on our websites to provide an engaging and rewarding experience for users of our site.

If we need to change our Privacy Policy at any time, we reserve the right to do this; furthermore we aim to make these changes in your best interests. We would notify you by posting an upgraded edition of the policy on our web site. This upgraded or amended Privacy Policy will apply between you and Liver Doctor. And as always, if you don’t agree with any new policies, you have the option of closing your membership and/or account at anytime. We do respect your choices and philosophies, and if you do not like any of our policies, we would love to receive your feedback as to how we may improve them, so that you feel comfortable to continue as a valued user of our services.
