Shhh . . . want to know the secret to looking really good?

Of course you do . . . doesn’t everyone? We all want to look the very best we can and loving your liver is a great place to start. Your liver is an incredibly important, yet often overlooked, organ. Its major functions include regulating fat metabolism and cleansing and detoxifying your bloodstream. Compromised liver health is incredibly common and around one in five Australians has a fatty liver. Some signs of a dysfunctional liver include:
  • Dark circles under the eyes
  • Skin rashes or blotchy brown spots or acne rosacea
  • Red cheeks
  • Pot belly
  • Trouble losing weight and/or cellulite
  • Coated tongue and/or bad breath
  • Excessive sweating and/or overheating
  • Itchy skin
The liver also plays a vital role in the metabolism of thyroid hormones and sex hormones and these things impact upon the appearance of your skin and your metabolic rate. The good news is that you can reverse these problems by improving your liver function! Consider doing a quick detox to support your hard working liver and you will reap so many  benefits - clearer skin, brighter eyes, improved mood and ability to concentrate, better sleep and more energy.
