Could You Be Suffering From An Autoimmune disease?
Autoimmune disease affects approximately one in 20 people and is one of the most significant health problems in the USA. There are more than 80 different autoimmune diseases. Many common health problems are autoimmune, yet the average person is not aware that an underlying immune disorder is to blame.
Examples of autoimmune diseases:
- Psoriasis
- Hashimoto’s thyroiditis (causes under active thyroid)
- Graves’ disease (causes an over active thyroid)
- Arthritis
- Lupus
- Crohn’s disease
- Ulcerative colitis
- Multiple sclerosis
- Celiac disease
Dr Cabot has released a book about autoimmune disease that covers all these conditions plus many more.
An autoimmune disease occurs when a person’s immune system launches an attack against their own cells, tissues and/or organs. This results in inflammation throughout the body, and potential damage to specific organs.
Your doctor may have told you nothing can be done to heal autoimmune disease and you’ll just have to manage your symptoms with a cocktail of medications for the rest of your life. You may have been told autoimmune disease is genetic and there’s nothing you can do about it because you’ve got faulty genes and you’ll just have to learn to live with them.
Yes, genes do play an important role in autoimmune disease but they are only one piece of the puzzle, and a small one at that. Research shows that 70 to 95 percent of the risk of developing autoimmune disease comes from your environment, not your genes. Environment refers to foods you eat, chemicals you’re exposed to or stress you’re subjected to. The good news is you have a great deal of control over your environment, regardless of the genes you’ve inherited.
The conventional medical treatment of autoimmune disease leaves a lot to be desired and many people choose to discontinue treatment because the side effects are worse than the disease. Conventional treatment focuses on drugs that create immunosuppression. Suppressing the immune system can be very effective for reducing the symptoms of autoimmune disease, and protecting organs from damage, but in the long term, can have harmful side effects such as an increased risk of infections or cancer.
Many people are diagnosed with a disease but not told it is autoimmune. For example, a person with an under active thyroid gland is prescribed thyroid hormone, but no mention is given to the actual cause of the disease, which is autoimmune destruction of the thyroid gland. This is a shame because it means the patient doesn’t really understand the nature of their disease and what they could be doing about it. Also, if we don’t address the underlying immune dysfunction, a person is much more prone to developing a second or third autoimmune disease.
In their book, Dr Sandra Cabot and naturopath Margaret Jasinska give the reader a step by step plan for healing autoimmune disease, reducing inflammation, alleviating symptoms and halting autoantibody production, thereby stopping tissue destruction. This book offers a medically proven approach to assisting immune system disorders.
In this book, the reader will learn:
- The role of specific foods and supplements in reducing inflammation and healing the immune system.
- The detrimental effects of gluten on the immune system, inflammation and intestinal health of people with autoimmune disease. How gluten causes a leaky gut.
- How common nutritional deficiencies can raise the risk of developing an autoimmune disease.
- How leaky gut syndrome is a factor in triggering autoimmune disease.
- The role of hormones in influencing autoimmune disease.
- How vaccinations and environmental chemicals can trigger autoimmune disease in some people. The specific ingredients in vaccines that can harm the immune system.
- Which specific foods to avoid and which foods to eat more of.
- Recipes for healing autoimmune disease
Read about all this and more in the book, Healing Autoimmune Disease. A plan to help your immune system and reduce inflammation.

If it’s faulty or wrongly described, we’ll replace it.
This sounds autoimmune to me and you have excess inflammation in your whole body. I would recommend you take some supplements to reduce inflammation such as SELENOMUNE one capsule daily and N-Acetyl-Cysteine (NAC) one capsule twice daily away from food with a whole large glass of water. Avoid gluten. processed foods and sugar and keep your weight in the healthy range. You would also benefit from the 15-day Dr Cabot Cleanse.
we have a good book titled HEALING AUTOIMMUNE DISEASE.
best wishes

Yes it could be an autoimmune condition such as inflammatory bowel disease. You may also have an intestinal parasite.
It’s best to see your doctor and have a stool test and blood test.
Best wishes

thats unusual presentation
If it was a broken vein the arm would have changed colour showing dark bruising = purple and blue/black
it could have been polymyalgia of autoimmune origin
No fracture and no trauma
Hidden infection can also be a cause
I would not have a steroid injection as it can increase risk of infection
Stop eating carbohydrates = sugar and grains
rest up and get sleep
Take my MAGNESIUM ULTRAPOTENT one tsp daily in water and my SELENOMUNE one capsule daily to help recover.
Take my SUPER VITAMIN K Capsules 2 daily to heal blood vessels and reduce risk of bleeding.
also take Vitamin C 2000mg daily.
this is much safer than steroid injection
Also make sure your blood level of vitamin D is good

In February I started experiencing swelling my whole face swells up and my nose as well. I hope to keep cleaning it and honestly what comes out of it is madness. I am having consultations with ENT now as the infection has caused a perforated septum.
The pain I am experiencing is horrendous, I can’t go outside with a scarf round my face as even the air going into my nose hurts, I have had basically 2 course of antibiotics a month since October and now On a continual one.
This has took over my life, I don’t go out, I’ve been signed off work, I’ve put on over stone when I don’t over and for the past 2 weeks everyday has been a bad day.
I am also experiencing dry mouth, ear pain, throat pain , have a continual cough, have had a rash on my back for weeks, keep taking hot flushes, always feel like I have a constant temperature, I’ve noticed fluid a few times im my hands and feet and constantly got the shakes.
I really do feel like I’m losing my mind and just wish someone would help me.

What's the fastest way to narrow down which autoimmune diseases are most likely with my symptoms. Autoimmune diseases run in my family, but we're not found until near death in all family members. My generation is the first to be affected so young & severely.
I'm 36 & my symptoms all started becoming severe during & since pregnancy. However many were present prior but worsened severely & since.
Are there any apps or long extensive quizzes or particular names of clinics that specialize etc
with any and all autoimmune diseases you need a grain free diet. Also avoid cow's milk.
I have written a book called HEALING AUTOIMMUNE DISEASE which really covers them all.
It is common for autoimmune disease to first manifest during pregnancy or after childbirth and progesterone cream can help that issue.
we have an excellent supplement for Autoimmune diseases called SELENOMUNE - dose one capsule daily
you must keep your vitamin D level high
most common autoimmune is thyroid disease, arthritis, colitis, lupus, vasculitis and they can be diagnosed with blood tests
However all autoimmune diseases require treatment for gut, liver and immune system
we do have some podcasts on sandracabot.com about autoimmune disease
you are young and you can get full recovery

eczema & depression. Have recently been diagnosed with complex ptsd.I had my gall bladder removed in 2016. I eat a good diet & drink plenty of liquids, not alcohol. I just wondered if there was a anything else I can do to help myself keep healthy.
Your concerns are strong indications of generalized inflammation and even your good diet may still contain significant inflammatory components.
We recommend the strongly anti-inflammatory plan that is found in Dr Cabot’s 15 Day Cleanse and Maintenance Program.
To effectively reverse your conditions Dr Cabot prescribes Vitamin D, Super Vitamin K, Magnesium powder or tablets, Glutamine and Berberine.
Kind regards

We recommend you embark on an anti-inflammatory diet and lifestyle. Dr Cabot’s 15 Day Cleanse and Maintenance Plan is formulated to significantly lower inflammatory processes in the body.
