  1. I had a cat-scan recently ,and I now know that I have a fatty liver also. I just found you on the internet and I am very interested in improving my Liver Health. I already had my gallbladder removed 2 years ago, and was wondering if all the supplements that you would have me take, would tear up my digestive system? Would the protocols you recommend, be okay for those of us who have already lost our gallbladders? Thank you for any help!

    • Hi Roger,

      Dr Cabot recommends

Ox Bile 1 to 2 caps three times daily with every meal to replace the bile that can no longer be delivered from your gallbladder to help essential fat absorption

Livatone Plus 2 caps twice daily to improve liver function

NAC 2 caps twice daily at least 2 hours away from food as it works well with Livatone Plus to hasten liver healing.

Dr Cabot recommends you avoid sugar, dairy and processed foods.

You should follow the eating principles in Dr Cabot’s book: ‘Fatty Liver: You Can Reverse It’.

  2. Can stage 4 cirrhosis be reversed.. My wife’s liver doctor says no. She is at a level where she has chronic fatigue, but he says that could go on for 3-4 years before she needs a transplant. She also has chronic diarrhea but nothing he has given her seems to work.
    Thank you

    • Dear David,

No it cannot be reversed, but the progression could be significantly slowed down if your wife eats well, takes a good liver tonic and the reason she developed cirrhosis is addressed.
I would recommend Livatone Plus 2 caps twice daily.
