Ingredients

  • 2 approximately 5 ounce tuna steaks
  • 1 tablespoon each of coconut oil and ghee or butter
  • Zest and juice from 1 lime
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Method

  1. Heat the oil and ghee in a pan over medium heat on the stove. Add the lime zest to the pan and stir well. Add the tuna steaks and sprinkle them with salt and pepper.
  2. Pour the juice from the lime into the pan.
  3. Cook the tuna steaks for approximately 2 minutes each side, or until done to your liking.
  4. Serve the tuna with a salad or vegetables and pour the remaining lime juice from the pan over the tuna.
