Liver Fluke

Liver disease is serious and requires treatment and regular monitoring by a liver specialist.

A liver specialist is known as a hepatologist and you need to be referred by your family doctor or general practitioner. Over nearly 40 years of practicing medicine I have seen many patients develop severe liver disease, which sadly could have been prevented by early detection and early referral to a hepatologist. There needs to be more awareness of liver disease so that patients can be treated early so that we can prevent cirrhosis, liver failure and liver cancer. Make sure you have your liver function checked annually with a blood test.

I have presented my ideas on how to help those with liver diseases using nutritional medicine, which I have been using for many years with good success rates. However my recommendations do not replace the care of your own doctor and you should remain under the care of your own doctor whilst using nutritional therapies.

Liver Fluke

Liver fluke disease is a chronic parasitic disease of the bile ducts. Infection with this parasite occurs through eating fluke-infested, fresh-water raw or undercooked fish.liver fluke

The most common types of liver flukes are Clonorchis sinensis, Opisthorchis viverrini and Opisthorchis felineus.

Approximately 35 million people are infected with liver flukes throughout the world and the very high incidence of cancer of the bile ducts (cholangiocarcinoma) in some countries is associated with a high prevalence of liver fluke infection. It is most common in South-East Asia, South Korea, Taiwan, Northern Vietnam, Laos and Northeast Thailand, Eastern Europe Eastern Russia, Manchuria, Northern Siberia and China. In China 15 million people carry liver fluke.

People living along rivers are prone to infection by flukes because they have a habit of eating raw or undercooked fresh-water fish. This food-borne malady is an important public health issue and liver fluke infection does not receive the awareness it deserves.

The control of liver fluke and any food borne infections requires collaboration between the sectors of public health, the food industry and the media. Consumer education is crucial to make people aware of the need to stop eating raw fish. Because of increasing immigration and travel more doctors should know about the high prevalence of liver fluke infection among healthy looking people and the long term severe complications of the infection.

Liver fluke is not common in the Western world. In North American countries and Australia where many Asian immigrants are now living, people may carry liver fluke caught in their country of origin and because it is not previously commonly seen, the diagnosis is often missed until severe liver damage has resulted.

The flukes get into the small bile ducts inside the liver and the gallbladder where they live for 20-30 years. The flukes cause chronic inflammation of the bile ducts causing scarring (fibrosis) of the bile ducts and bile duct dilatation. A liver fluke is a type of flat worm. One adult fluke lays 2000-4000 eggs each day and the eggs are excreted through the bile ducts and feces of the infected person. The cycle re-circulates via eating of raw fresh-water fish.

Most people infected with this parasite have no symptoms; however patients with severe infection suffer from fatigue and abdominal discomfort. Long standing infection may cause stone formation in the bile ducts and the gallbladder, recurrent bacterial secondary infections in the bile ducts and cancer of the bile ducts.

Severe infection can cause an enlarged liver (hepatomegaly) and complaints such as abdominal pain, anorexia, nausea, vomiting and indigestion. Jaundice is due to the mechanical obstruction in the bile ducts caused by a multitude of flukes, or it is due to bile duct obstruction caused by stones, or bile duct cancer (cholangiocarcinoma) as a late complication of chronic infection.

Testing Patients for Liver Fluke Infection

In endemic areas, it is recommended to do screening tests such as a stool ova test and a liver ultrasound scan. The high risk groups for liver fluke infection are those who have a history of eating raw, freshwater fish in endemic areas. An ultrasound scan or CAT scan images may show dilatation of the bile ducts. If tests are positive then anthelminthic (anti-worm) drugs should be prescribed.

People should be told to have regular periodic stool tests to check for the presence of eggs in the stool. Also anyone who has travelled to these parts of the world and eaten raw or under cooked fresh water fish should be tested.

The typical appearance of past/healed liver fluke infection is widespread dilatation of the bile ducts inside the liver without evidence of an obstructing cause (dilatation without obstruction); this is seen on ultrasound, CAT or MRI scans of the liver. This picture is frequently found in healthy looking but infected people in endemic areas.

Important Point

If liver fluke is left undetected for years, this can become a very serious disease and cause destruction of the liver. Most people with liver fluke infection are completely unaware because they experience no symptoms at all. A small percentage of patients experience fatigue and non-specific abdominal discomfort, which easily gets mistaken for indigestion or irritable bowel syndrome. So it is important to have a high awareness of this insidious and destructive liver disease.

Medical Treatment of Liver Fluke

Tablets are prescribed to kill the worms and these drugs are known as antihelmintic medications. If the disease is detected too late, sometimes the damage caused by the flukes is so extensive that a badly damaged part of the liver must be surgically removed. The sooner the infection is detected and eradicated, the less harm it is able to do to the bile ducts and the liver.

An experimental drug called tribendimidine could help cure millions of people infected with liver fluke. In a study published in The Lancet medical journal, researchers found that tribendimidine is as safe as and more effective than the standard treatment for liver fluke. The standard treatment is a generic drug called praziquantel, which has a cure rate of 70 percent. The cure rates for tribendimidine were much better than praziquantel, although this needs to be confirmed in larger clinical trials.

In contrast to the new drug, older drugs such as artemether, artesunate and mefloquine are not very effective and should not be recommended for treating liver fluke.

Highest cure rates of over 70 percent can be achieved in patients treated with tribendimidine, followed by 56 percent for those treated with praziquantel. Cure rates are much less from taking combined mefloquine and artesunate.

There are many types of parasitic worms and they cause disease in more than a billion people around the world. Over time these parasites have become increasingly resistant to available drugs; this brings an urgent need to find new drugs to fight them.

Flukes are very hard to eradicate. It can be done but often takes a long time depending on the amount of flukes in the liver. If you look at forums on the Internet, people taking antihelmintic drugs have found that when clearing flukes they passed several hundred flukes every day in their stools.

There are many Internet blogs (such as parasite drug forum) about liver fluke where people share their experiences of taking multiple antihelmintic drugs and rotating them until they clear all the flukes.

Brand names of drugs used include:

  • Egaten (Triclabendazole)
  • Praziquantel
  • Albendazole also Valbazen, which is the animal liquid form and is much cheaper
  • Vermox (mebendazole)
  • Yomesan (niclosamide)

  1. Please email a doctor who can prescribe medications for liver flukes and other worms. My abdomen hurts badly and recently 2 large flukes came out of holes in my hip. I have not worked in 7 mos and need medical care. I have been to many doctors but they are not treating parasites in the US. My 3 stool samples were full of worms. There was no need for a microscope to see that I am infected. Yet the tests came back Negative. I do not believe the lab did any tests.

  2. i am Manish Gautam, i live in Guwahati india, September 2015 I learned my HBsAg was reactive when I was required to undergo medical exam for an employment in Broad, and the doctor told me there is no permanent cure for the disease, I was worried and confused thought my life has come to an end, in December i came across a forum, (MED LAB) Who cured all kind of diseases including hepatitis b, I contacted them via email medlab36 gmailcom and made purchase of the hepatitis Vaccine, i received the Vaccine through DHL within 3 days, when i received the Vaccine i applied it as prescribed and i was totally cured of hepatitis b within few’s days of usages, i went back to my doctor and he confirmed i was free curable cured from the disease, am so happy now living a normal life again thanks to MED LAB. Viewers contact MED LAB via email: medlab36 gmailcom

    • Do you have to have the medical diagnosis before med lab will help a person? I cannot get 2 of my Drs to even acknowledge the conversation, let alone send me for blood work or do stool testing.
I was also asked to leave the emergency room at our local hospital and the Dr was furious at me that I was even there.
I’m quite aware that I have some things including flukes but I cannot get anyone with authority to send a referral for me. Not even our local Health Department.
      Any suggestions?

  3. My story : i was shaming my self, because doctors started to think i was drawing attention by think disorders.

Standard worm-tests look for large floating worm-eggs, Liver-Fluke eggs are tiny and they will sink. So. That’s why a lot of people hear from the doctor there is no evidence for a worm infection based on a regular poop-test.

Many times Liver-fluke infection will not show up on a regular blood-test for worm infections. I’m tested on a lot of blood levels and values in two expert hospitals incl a CT scan, all value’s are ok.

I ended up buying a 10$ microscope, took some poop, washed it, separate the lowest part repeat this several times, and look what i found: a Liver fluke egg. there was my smoking gun after 2 years of hospital visits.

my conclusion, based on my personal research: Many dokters have NO experience with liver-fluke symptoms, detection and treatment. Its not to blame them because is a very rare infection, hard to detect with standard methodes.

I hope my personal story will help you with your search for you problems caused by liver-fluke or other causes.

i was shaming my self, because doktors started to think i was drawing attention by think disorders.

I ended up buying a 10$ microscope 400x, took some poop, washed it, separate the lowest part repeat this several times, and look what i found: a Liverfluke egg. there was my smoking gun after 2 years of hospital visits.

The standard anti worm is mebendazole, available on pharmacy or drugstore for 2$,

The best choice seems is Triclabendazole, but not available on pharmacy for humans. I ordered it on an animal-doctor 1 liter a 150$ ( CYDECTIN TRICLAMOX) dose 10 mg/kg = 1ml / 5kg. its seems to be tested to be safe on human, no site affects are expected.

my conclusion, based on my personal research:

    – Its very rare that you get infected by liver-fluke.
    – It seems that you can not be infected by just eggs, only larvea, sitting on water plants
    – Ones you are infected its hard to detect an infection
    – No many dokters have experience with liver-fluke symptoms, detection and treatment.
    – The best medicine seems to be triclabendazole, its not standard available, some times a combination is needed because the liver-fluke can be immune to triclabendazole.
    – The treatment must be repeated because larvea travel through the blood and lymph to the connective tissue of the abdomen where they can hide for a long time.
    – if you take a dose, make sure is high enough (do not under-dose)

I hope my personal story will help you with your search for you problems caused by liver-fluke or other causes.

NOTE: THIS IS AN ADVICE OF A NON_PROFESSIONAL, PLEASE CONSULT A SPECIALIST BEFORE DRAWING ANY CONCLUSIONS FOR YOUR OWN SITUATION OR BEFORE TAKING ANY MEDICINE.’

  5. Is there anyone reading this who has gotten help with flukes by a doctor?
I would love to get in contact with you if so.

    • did you find out anything

    • I had help, after selfdiagnose
A lot of dokters have no experience and does not detect any signs

    • I have liver flukes, and cannot find a doctor who can diagnose and treat me for this. Have you found a doctor, and how are you feeling now?

      • Hi Sue , my wife uses an alternative medicine practitioner specialized in QRA she was diagnosed with flukes and prescribed a powerful herbal supplement called paritosen the qra specialist is 100% confident about the eradication of the buggers, also check out adding small doses of papaya seeds to your diet they are on the spicy hot side but multiple health benefits, I’m not a professional just an enthusiast I’ll check back in two months after the herbal course is completed.

  6. 57 year-old man in Ireland. I have had on and off pain in the liver and bile duct area for years. It has gotten persistent and worse lately. I exercise, eat carefully and don’t drink or smoke. I had my gall bladder out in 1999 after a strong billary attack. i used to travel a lot in Asia and Africa and was born and raised on a livestock farm. I’m concerned about liver fluke or some infestation of the liver. I had an ultrasound that showed dilated ducts but was told this is common in people who have had their gallbladder removed but I wonder. Any advice?

  7. I have been to three doctors. Two stool samples came back negative they lost one they use stool that is hours old,, they don’t follow proper procedure, they treat you like you’re insane, they think they know it all and they don’t wanna hear, things like I said such as, you need to take three separate stool samples, I even traveled 75 miles, to Portland to the hospital where the infectious disease is located, I was told by some student Dr. that the head Dr. Was from Asia and had seen cases of worms and only one stooll sample needed to be taken. Of course it came back negative, they refuse to look at the stool, you could see the worms, but I was told you can’t see worms in stool, and infectious doctors, were given the referral for my boyfriend to travel to Portland, but they said send pictures first, and they emailed me and said “these are not worms that humans get humans only get two kinds of worms and they can’t live in humans because they die before their cycles complete.” I have conferred with three of my colleagues. So the so called infectious disease Dr. Looked at these pictures and said they’re not worms and they wouldn’t see him” I have the Email. We are both very sick now I am intending to sue their butts, and every other Dr. and lab that makes mistakes from here on out, right from the start, Ive seen nurses at walk ins and 3 different ER doctors, and now going to see if I can get into a psychologist because I must be crazy right? The doctors just keep telling me I don’t have nothin’ but there must be something wrong if I keep going to the Dr. and there’s nothing wrong. Why don’t they send me to see a psychiatrist then? I’m on the Oregon Health plan. If you’re an Atty. and you’re reading this please contact me. I have proof of several mistakes in laboratory tests and have the doctors e-mail that states people only get two kinds of worms and they can’t live inside people, they also would not see my boyfriend with his referral and used simply these pictures as their reason I am going to sue them for every penny they are found to be liable for. How many mistakes are made where people died from cancer or these worms. I even tried to call the CDC they said see a Dr.. Doctors here in this small town are not properly trained, yet the CDC says they are. My stool is contaminated I use public facilities, Its contagious I did ask DRs to draw blood I’m sure I’m anemic and I’m sure my blood shows levels that would be consistent with the worm infection. I was told blood samples don’t show worms in two different health facilities, God help us all.

    • Hi I have had the similar negative results here in Australia- despite taking actual samples to many labs, having an MRI and a gastroscopy. For a result to just come back negative is so frustrating, instead why don’t they look under a binocular scope, say gee whiz what are these organisms? They look like trematodes- i will investigate further now!
I have tried the usual praziqantal and albendazole drugs which eradicate a lot of flukes, but they always come back! The new drug tribendimidine (only available in China) has a much better cure rate (according to Lancet) but I have had trouble trying to buy it. Can anyone help me? I think I will need to go to Hong Kong to buy it.
Yes apparently there are no blood tests which show up these flukes.
My liver function tests are all good- but I guess after 3 years of having these flukes now- that could change!

don’t give up the fight! One of the worst symptoms for me is depression and lethargy.
Western doctors are woefully ignorant about this disease- as this liver doctor site tells us- 39 million people have it, however.
Can someone please tell the AMA to get their act into gear!!!

      • Hey Judo. Same for me here in Austalia. I’ve been to 3 different doctors in Melbourne and they all have sent me home and told me not to worry, I even got told “sometimes you can imagine stuff” after 2 stool samplers coming back negative. They even had flukes and eggs in them! I went back to my doctor today with an actual fluke and had to start crying to get her to prescribe Praziqantel for me. God I hope it works. This is draining me mentally and I’m so done with it! I’d love to get in contact with you as we’re seem to be in the same situation

        Keep fighting!

        Emma

        • Hi Emma
sorry to hear you have them as well. I have had a hip op and will now go back on the herbal drops, (while on them lots more come out- are they never-ending? ) but I an seriously going to try and buy the newest drug in Hong Kong!

          • Thanks for your reply. Hope your hip operation went well! Do you have contact with any supplier in Hong Kong? I’m in desperate need of medication for this. I’ve realised I will need to take this in my own hands as I don’t get any help from the doctors. 0412672803 is my number if you’d like to talk further.

            Warm regards
            Emma

          • Hi again Judo!
Have you manage to get any help yet?
I’m desperate to find a doctor to help me.

            Best,
            Emma

        • I had to take praziquantel and ivermectin combo before I saw results just this week. I have been at it si center November

          • Wendy where and what kind of ivermectin did you take? I’m using horse wormer I get at the feed store.3tubes I have used at the ,200# dose1 time every day with ,2days off each time I finish tubeI have no idea how I’m supposed to take it but desperate measures….

          • I use liquid goat ivermectin I get at the farm store it comes in a larger bottle so it lasts longer. It is also important to be taking a laxative at the same time or you will get blocked up from the die off. I made that mistake and by the time I realized things were not moving I was in a bad way. It took almost a week to get myself unplugged I was concerned it was going to turn into an emergency room visit. I used several laxativesmall but dulcolax 5mg really worked the best to get things moving again also coffee enemiashop daily. I learned that you want to keep pushing the dead parasites out because when they die they put off toxins that load your already compromised liver.

        • Hi Em,
Have you tried flushing them with Colonic Hydrotherapy and coffee implants? I am in the process of trying to get rid if these little critters too. I have also started taking nigela seeds which help draw them out. AustraluanbColon Health I’ve found are good as you can literally see them coming out and these people deal with parasites on a daily basis.
Hope this helps, anything is worth a try

      • I believe the flukes bury in and won’t be detected in stool samples. 5 years ago I was told that tests showed that I had a fatty liver. I was never given the impression by the doctor that this could be a problem. I do not smoke, drink or eat meat so I never gave my liver a second thought. However I developed horrible depression, leg pain and bloat just under my rib cage (I had become extremely uncomfortable living in my own body). Eventually I could not walk my legs hurt so bad and lost all motivation to get out of bed. Dr’s couldn’t find anything except elevated white cell count. I went from a very busy active mom and teacher to having to quit my job and feel guilty that I wasn’t available to my family. I decided to do my own research and figure out what was going on. Parasites kept coming up in my research results. Parasites was something new to me but I had all the symptoms so I began to try different cleanse protocols. I was scared no I was terrified as I had no idea what kind of things I would see come out of me.That was last November. It is a long grueling process and more than one type of parasite. In fact it wasn’t until recently that I began seeing hundreds of flukes, they are deep in the liver and not easy to eradicate. I do daily coffee enemia along with parasite cleanses and that is flushing them out. I am starting to feel myself again and have hope for the future.

        • Hi Wendy,

From what you are writing I understand you are using natural remedies. What exactly are the cleansing protocols and substances?

          Many thanks for sharing!

The AMA is an elite bunch who thrive on sick people. They have all gone to college for the chance to make a high income. Why would they want to eradicate their bread and butter. Just ask yourself why they give therapies which are know carcinogenics to cancer patients. Are they trying to kill the cancer or the patient? They make way more money on a desperate and dying patient, and can extract several hundred thousand dollars from a person before they die.

I have a friend who I have helped extract several kinds of parasites. Hook worm and flukes are the easiest to detect when you can literally look them in the eye and examine all their internal organs with magnifiers. Yet the trained doctors try to convince us that they are vegetable matter such as bell pepper skins. But these have firm bodies with obvious organs, we tell them. To which many will respond “Well your test was negative. Perhaps you need a psychiatric medication to help you relax.”

It has become very very clear that the main goal of western medical docs is to make money for them selves. They consistently prescribe meds that only mask symptoms, and weaken you in alternate ways.

If you don’t believe me and others posting here, ask yourself this. Is it possible that the most skillful people at extracting money from large populations would ignore the medical industry where desperate people will do almost anything to obtain health, and 100% of the population will require healthcare. And why are we still promoting edible products that are known to cause health problems for the vast majority of the population.

We are all just part of a grand social experiment now and only the Lord can liberate us.

      Dear all

      most people have parasites.
removal is long and arduous depend on levels of infection and duration of infection.
secondary infection occur (*bacteria, giardia toxoplasmosis etc)
The winning combo is ivermectin and tribendimidine. You will be on one off for a while. Some months some a couple years.
herbs will take many years and may (will) never get deep infections.
When Taking killing stuff heat on affected areas helps
Stimulate activity and so death. Use tdp lamp on amazon or best ultrasound.
use vibration to break up and loosen durning treatment (thumper on amazon).

dido for tribendimidine they will ship and call it ginger maybe.

    • Thank you for your story. I have read many cases where doctors are clueless about parasites! I have liver flukes and I don’t eat meat. I decided to research my symptoms one day after many pointless dr visits. All research kept leading me back to parasites as the cause. Thank goodness I took my health into my own hand or I might not be here today. I have been on a intensive parasite cleanse since November. Finally I am seeing result. The past two days I have been passing hundreds of visible flukes of every size! Don’t listen to Dr’s who are unwilling to face the truth about human parasite infections.

      • where do you live, usa? I have symptoms of it and a long odyssey of not being diagnosed. I don’t eat fish but did get sick after Chipotle.

        • I have lived in several states on the East Coast. We also travel to different states every summer. After much research I believe I contracted them many years ago when living near a farm who’s cow pasture was backed up to our back yard. The pasture was always wet and the cows were always hoof deep in mud. On top of that we had well water which I believe must have been contaminated with the pasture muck and most likely liver fluke. UGH!!

          • Wendy, I did an herbal cleanse from humaworm. They also have a facebook support pg. Most of us have parasaites. I probably had flukes for decades but they took over after I had chemo & my defencses were down. Just as we worm our pets twice a year, it’s recommended to do a prasites cleanse twice a year.

      • Can you please post a photo?

        • I haven’t taken pictures but I know how useful they can be so if it would be helpful I can take a few to post.

      • Wendy, what type of cleanse did you do?

    • Go and see an ayurvedic doctor, they will help you. That is Indian medecine. I have been seeing one for 6 months now and all sorts of things are coming out of my body

  9. Is it possible to get infested by liver fluke by drinking unprocessed river water ?

  10. I am a Chinese student living in California. I
ate an under-cooked steamed fresh-water fish. I was not aware of the
serious consequences about eating an under-cooked fresh-water fish.
After that, I looked up on the internet and found that it can cause Clonorchis sinensis, a kind of liver fluke. After reading the article talking about Clonorchis in your website, I am so worried about being infected with Clonorchis.
Do the Chinese fresh-water fishes in United States contain this kind of
liver fluke, or it only exists in area in Asia? Also, where can I go to
if I want to check for the parasite?

    I
am so worried and panic but I don’t know where to seek help. People
around me may think this is a joke only because few people are aware of
    this.

    • The chance of getting an infection in the USA is low, but it would be good to see your doctor for a stool test and blood test to be sure.

      • I have liver flukes and 8 other known parasites. I have been treated for 2 months and have seen nothing for 3 weeks until today. I saw a few flukes today. I do live in the USA.

        • i have been trying to get help for 5 years now and been tested and all negative but I know this is what i have i see this in every time i go to restroom but i have a blockage so its all been horrible and gotten worse, How did how did you get someone to listen and get diagnosed they look at me like im totally nuts

          • I was seeing a naturalpath Dr a d he tested for presence of parasites and it tested high. I showed him pictures of what I was seeing and that was enough for him. Because liver flukes seem to be not common in the U.S. at first he wasn’t sure what he was looking at. But he researched and talked to other Drs and they all confirmed. Now ice been pushed out to western medicine due to his growing concern for my general health, to test my liver enzymes and other organ function.

          • I can not get any doctor to take me serious much less get them to even look at pictures I had that look like all the ones online there finally doing a test for parasites but I’ve read that it is actually hard to detect!! Everything regarding all my health problems all point to liver fluke I have had 1 blood transfusion already and close to needing another. Do u have any suggestions?

          • I discovered mine only from having diarrhea for 16 hours and seeing them come out sometimes 50 a day. It is true that it’s hard to detect them through stool samples because eggs may not be present when they check. My Dr just looked and verified without giving me issues. If you are pretty certain, maybe get another opinion from another Dr?

          • When you only have managed Medicaid plan your so limited to services I’m finding! I need 3 specialists for 3 different issues and none take the plan in goin in circles gettin no where! I took specimens. 1 which I just put what I am calling flukes and they didn’t test it only the full stool which I didn’t think had any signs of parasites go figure! I’ve been so sick so anemic now I can’t get rid of bronchitis I’ve had 3 times past 3 months and can’t get rid of it either!! It’s so frustrating!

          • Check out Humaworm.com. Last week I did a liver flush (directions on site under Q & A, at bottom) & released many liver/gallbladder stones & dead flukes. More dead flukes came out the next day during a salt water enema. I started their parasite cleanse six days ago. There’s a facebook page. I had no luck with doctors, they all want me on antidepressants for “psychological” problems. I sent out an online stool test from drjockers.com but haven’t gotten the results back. Just as well the docs aren’t listening to you because they’d give you numerous antibiotics that wouldnt work & would make you sicker. Regardless, check out Humaworm or other parasite cleanses, Hulda Clark, etc. It’s not so bad, though if you’re very infested (as am I) be prepared for dieoff.

          • Hi guys,
I had (unknowing to me ) a liver fuke for many years, probably since my travel to Thailand in 1999 where I got really sick for a few days. I can’t remember eating raw fish but I think I got sick from getting a bottle of drink at the local market.
I’ve always had some digestive problems but since the trip I was feeling much worse and yes just like some of you I was told by many dr’s that there is nothing wrong with me and it must be just in my head. I have given up on the dr long time ago and decided that I must try to help myself. Over the years I was detoxing my liver with green juices and liver tablets from health food store. I was feeling a bit better but the results didn’t last long. two years ago I was introduced to coffee enemas by a friend and after doing them for few days in the row I was feeling good, but I have developed a yellow circles under my eyes and it got me worried. I’ve read a lots of articles on the net about it and some suggested a serious sicknesses, so I went to my local dr to have it investigated. I was very upset when again he didn’t even suggest any tests and just told me that I shouldn’t worry about it. Again I was on my own!!!
Searching the net I have come across an article that suggested that it could be a gallbladder stones. I’ve also found Dr. Clark information centre with informations how to get rid of the gallbladder and liver stones. The recipe was inexpensive and very simple, so I decided to give it a go. Unfortunately I have ignored the parasites treatment ( as I didn’t think I have them) with my first cleanse and and become quite sick and didn’t pass any stones. That put me off of doing more cleanses for a few months. After that I have done some research about parasites and realised that all of us have them !!!
I went anti parasites treatment for two weeks using Tri Plex a herbal drops made in Australia. I could not believe what come out with my next cleanse ( picture attached). As I knew that I haven’t eaten what it looked to me a watermelon I took a picture and search the net for answers. Took me a nearly 12 months to realise that it was a liver fluke after someone posted a similar picture on crurezone.com
Since then I have done 6 liver cleanses ( every 2-3 weeks) and passed more liver flukes and many liver and gallbladder stones.
I would suggest to you to give it a go and hopefully it will help you too.
Wish you all good luck !!!
            Sophie

      • Every stool test has tested negative and the one tube I took that was only what I have been calling flukes they didn’t test go figure!! That’s how my luck has been! All my blood wirh is abnormal and or critical low what blood tests are there for testing flukes!
        Thank you

  11. interesting article. I farm in a liver fluke prone area of Victoria. is it the same fluke as infest cattle and sheep? can the disease jump species by means other than via the snail? thanks, Trevor

  12. So, blood tests can or can’t detect liver flukes?

    • Blood tests are available but their usefulness is limited due to cross reactivity with other worm species that may be causing the infestation

Direct microscopy is a far more reliable method because the parasites and eggs are easily recognised.

  13. I believe that I passed HUNDREDS of flukes at one time in my life when i was living in a flood zone with slugs climbing up on everyone’s soda/beer cans etc. I didn’t know what a liver fluke was at that time. Is there any blood test that can tell IF ONE HAS HAD FLUKES IN THE PAST?
    thank you

  14. I have got early stage liver dsease my scor is f 1. 6.8

    • Do you mean cirrhosis Paris? If so, daily supplementation of Vitamin E and Selenomune will assist. Also- Liva tone Plus and NAC i would also recommend. Raw Juices daily and the eating protocol out lined on the liver doctor web site. Look under the “liver” tab, scroll down to Liver problems- scroll further for “Cirrhosis”

    • If you mean Simply fatty liver- as Cirrhosis is end stage liver disease, then please follow the protocol in Dr Cabots book Fatty Liver you can reverse it.

I have h.pyloria. I have taken the one round of antibiotics. They did not work. I have also chronic yeast problems,(for years). How, can I get rid of H.pyloria naturally? I don’t want to take antibiotics if there is something else available.
