3 tablespoons pastured ghee or butter or lard 10 chicken drumsticks 3 cloves garlic, minced 1 teaspoon smoked paprika 1 teaspoon ground cumin ½ teaspoon chilli powder Sea salt, to taste Combine all ingredients except the chicken in a large glass bowl. Score the flesh of the drumsticks with a sharp knife to enable the marinade to penetrate. Place the drumsticks into the bowl and rub the marinade into them with your hands. Cover the bowl and leave in the fridge for several hours. Bake the drumsticks in a pre-heated 375ºF oven for approximately 45 minutes, or until cooked through. Cooking time will depend on the size of the drumsticks. Serve with a salad.
