Things you must know if you don’t have a gallbladder
Removal of the gallbladder is one of the most common surgeries performed in the USA and Australia today. Gallstones are incredibly common and they occur in 10 to 15 percent of the population. The problem does tend to run in families. Women are more likely to experience gallbladder problems than men and this is partly due to the effects of the female hormone estrogen.
A gallbladder performs several important roles in your body:
- Enables fat digestion
- Enables absorption of fat soluble antioxidants and vitamins A, E, D and K
- Assists the removal of cholesterol from your body
- Assists the removal of toxins that have been broken down by the liver
What happens when you don’t have a gallbladder?
Your liver continues to manufacture bile, but there is no longer a place to store it or concentrate it. Therefore bile continually slowly trickles into the intestines. If you eat a fatty meal, you will not be able to secrete a large enough amount of bile into your intestines, therefore the fat will be poorly digested. This means many people experience diarrhea, bloating, nausea or indigestion. Not digesting fat well means you will not be able to digest essential fatty acids, including omega 3 and omega 6 fats. It also means you’ll have a hard time absorbing fat soluble vitamins such as vitamins D, E, A and K. A lot of the antioxidants in vegetables are fat soluble: lycopene, lutein and carotenoids are all fat soluble. If you don’t produce adequate bile, you will not be adequately absorbing these life saving compounds from foods. If you take any of the above mentioned nutrients in supplement form, without sufficient bile you will sadly not absorb them well. Some common symptoms of poor fat digestion are dry, brittle hair; dry skin and premature aging of the skin; weak nails and painful joints. Essential fatty acids are important for optimal brain health, therefore low mood, anxiety, depression and impaired cognitive function are all possible manifestations of poor fat digestion. How to have a healthy liver and good digestion without a gallbladder
First of all it’s important to realise that you developed a gallbladder problem in the first place because you had an unhealthy liver and a problem with your digestive system. If your liver is not healthy, it will make poor quality bile. The bile will be prone to forming sludge and stones. Just removing the gallbladder doesn’t solve that problem, and in fact sludge and stones can form within the liver, compromising its function. Here are some vital tips to follow:
- Keep your intake of dairy products and grains to a minimum or avoid them altogether. Dairy products (milk, cheese, ice-cream, yoghurt) worsen all cases of gallbladder disease, liver disease and they are very difficult to digest. Food intolerance is a common cause of gallbladder problems, and there is research that links gluten intolerance with gallstones. A good reason to keep your intake of grains low is to reduce the risk of developing a fatty liver. There is a great deal of helpful information in our book Save your Gallbladder, and what to do if you've already lost it.
- Take a good quality liver tonic such as Livatone. The herbs St Mary’s thistle, dandelion root and globe artichoke leaves all increase bile production and bile flow. Taurine is an amino acid necessary for bile production. This should help to make you feel more comfortable after a meal, and should reduce the risk of stones forming inside your liver.
- Take an ox bile supplement. This is the most important recommendation for people who have lost their gallbladder. A lack of bile can produce symptoms such as bloating and indigestion after meals, light colored stools, diarrhea, fatigue after meals and nutrient deficiencies. Taking a good quality ox bile supplement with each meal is wonderful for completely eliminating these symptoms in most individuals.
- Take a Digestive Enzymes supplement. The majority of people who developed a gallbladder problem have suffered with poor digestion for many years. If your stomach and intestines are not in optimal health, they will not send signals to your gallbladder, telling it to contract properly. Irritable bowel syndrome, dysbiosis, small intestinal bacterial overgrowth and Candida overgrowth are common in people with a gallbladder problem. If you have had your gallbladder removed, you may continue to suffer symptoms due to those conditions. These digestive problems also cause insufficient digestive enzyme production. Taking digestive enzymes in supplement form helps to restore good digestive health and reduces symptoms of indigestion.
- Eat some good fats and avoid the bad fats. Your doctor may have recommended you follow a low fat diet after having your gallbladder removed. This is not necessary and in fact it is harmful. Your body desperately needs good fats and I recommend you include moderate quantities of extra virgin olive oil, avocados, coconut milk and oil, nuts and seeds in your diet.
- You may need a vitamin D3 supplement. People with compromised liver or digestive function are often vitamin D deficient. Exposure of your skin to the sun’s UVB rays enables your body to manufacture vitamin D. However, this process occurs in your liver and kidneys. People with a sluggish liver often do not manufacture vitamin D adequately. Therefore it’s a good idea to get a blood test and take a supplement. 5000 IU of vitamin D3 is a safe and effective dose for most people, but it’s best to be guided by your own doctor.
- Include some bitter and sour foods in your diet. They should help to improve your digestion and make it easier to tolerate good fats in your diet. Suitable bitter and sour foods include lemons, limes, radicchio lettuce, chicory, endive and dandelion leaves. These leaves are fairly easy to grow at home if you are lucky enough to have your own veggie patch.

Gallstones are often associated with low bile production in the liver and insufficient ejection of bile from the gallbladder to renew the bile in the gallbladder.
We recommend you have an abdominal ultrasound to determine your liver’s present health.
Many people with Gallbladder problems, still have a congested liver remaining after surgery and this is best reversed to improve your general health by reducing inflammation. The most common cause of gastric reflux is low stomach acid and the most common reason for gallbladder removal is liver congestion.
Now that you no longer have a gallbladder it is important to ensure there is sufficient bile present at each meal.
To supply bile, boost liver health and your vitality, Dr Cabot prescribes
Ox Bile capsules – 1 – 2 capsules during each meal to replace the bile that can no longer be delivered from your gallbladder to help essential fat and fat-soluble vitamin absorption.
Livatone Plus – Start with 1 capsule twice daily for the first 2 weeks and then increase to 2 caps twice daily, to improve liver function.
N-Acetyl-Cysteine (NAC 600mg) – Start with 1 cap twice daily for the first 2 weeks and then increase to 2 caps twice daily well away from food, if any upset occurs take at the beginning of your meals. This supplement works well with Livatone Plus to get your liver better faster. This supplement is the precursor nutrient of glutathione; the body’s strongest anti-oxidant. NAC should be taken with a whole glass of water away from food. Do not take just before retiring to bed. NAC can be strong on the stomach, and this is why you need to take it with a whole glass of water.

I had my Gallbladder removed in 2020. Since then, I have gained about 40 pounds. This is the biggest i have been in my entire life even after kids. I still have pain when I eat certain foods. Which now I try to avoid, but my problem is I have no appetite I really only eat once a day maybe twice. When I do eat I get so full just from a couple of bites. I have so much bloating that never seems to go away, my stomach feels like a balloon. I can't poop regularly, most times I go days without pooping. I am miserable. My surgeon did not give me anything to take on a regular basis. He just told me to avoid certain foods. I'm at my wits end do you have any suggestions?
You may need to increase the dose to 2 of each in the middle of meals if they contain fat and/or protein.

I had my gallbladder removed in 2021 after 10 years of reoccurring abdominal pains, my doctor found that my gallbladder was packed with stones and also formed a 4mm ring of crystallised bile around it.
Since having it removed, I have not been able to lose weight and have since gained quiet a bit of weight - even with exercise and diet.
Will Ox Bile assist with this to at least help with digestion etc or do you have an recommendations ?
Thanks

Over the course of nine years, starting with the removal of my uterus, I began experiencing persistent constipation, which eventually developed into a long-term issue accompanied by significant pain. Additionally, I underwent surgeries to remove my gallbladder and address a femorocele. Prior to these surgeries, I had a grade 2 fatty liver. Could you please assist me in addressing these ongoing health concerns?

If you improve your liver you will find that your bowel actions will improve a lot. I have several videos on fatty liver on www.liverdoctor.com and also on you tube which discuss the best diet. I highly recommend you take LIVATONE PLUS 4 capsules daily. I think that ox bile capsules in a dose of one capsule in the middle of meals would help you digest food and reduce constipation.

I recently had my gall bladder taken out as there was a 9m growth in it. I had experienced minimal pain on my right side but nothing serious. They found no gall stones when several ultra scans were taken. After my operation the surgeon informed me that my liver had cobblestone he showed me pictures it was a shock belive me. I have been told i will be having a biopsy of my liver to ascertain what has caused the cobblestone. I have been unable to find out anything online about the causes of cobblestoning in the liver. Also now that my gall bladder has been removed and my liver is compromised how do I take care of my liver, which was probably the issue all along. Any help you can give me would be appreciated. Thank you

If you do not have gall stones this will gradually fix your problem.
If you keep getting attacks you made need to see a surgeon for an ERCP (see my videos).
If the blockage is in the bile ducts having your gall bladder out will not fix the problem as there are no gall stones
Always get several opinions but my suggestions should work. It may take 4 to 6 months to fix.

I just recently had my gallbladder removed three weeks ago due to inflammation and scarring and cholesterol buildup. Now I'm having like dull pain on my right side under my rib. I had blood work and ultrasound before my surgery and they said everything was fine with my liver just a low functioning gallbladder is what the Hida scan results were. Please help thank you.
Having your gall bladder out does not always cure the symptoms if the liver is still inflamed and making unhealthy bile. Please watch all my videos on gall bladder problems on you tube and www.liverdoctor.com
These videos teach you how to eat correctly.
I recommend you start with LIVATONE PLUS 2 capsules twice day and N-Acetyl-Cysteine (NAC) 2 capsules twice daily in between meals with a large glass of water.
SERRAPEPTASE can help scarring but the most important things are the LIVATONE PLUS and the NAC.

I have removed my gallbladder 2 months ago, Few weeks after removing the gallbladder I was okay, and eating healthy. I have recently started eating a bit unhealthy since I was feeling good, I started eating more cheese and scream. So I have developed a yellow layer in my eyes, I think I am having jaundice. I read every comment above and I did not come across any message regarding the experience I am having, do you think this is related to not having a GB? please advice on what I can do with this problem.
You really need to follow a good diet – see the diet in my gallbladder videos.
I don’t think it is jaundice or you would have pale urine and feces (stools).
I recommend you take LIVATONE PLUS 2 to 4 capsules daily to help your liver. If you have pale stools or indigestion, you can take OXBILE Capsules – one in middle of meals that contain fat.
Cheers

After gallbladder removal it becomes increasingly difficult to absorb good dietary fats, which may explain why your skin has become increasingly dry.
Most people who have their gallbladder removed also have a congested liver, which may account for your ongoing symptoms.
The supplements you are taking are well indicated, although we would also recommend both Livatone Plus - 2 capsules daily and NAC – 2 capsules twice daily, well away from food with a large glass of water to avoid temporary stomach irritation.
Your present diet may have contributed significantly to your gallbladder and liver concerns, and we recommend you follow Dr Cabot's 15 Day Cleanse and Maintenace Program to reverse any liver congestion that may be present.
Another possible reason for your dry skin and hair loss may be thyroid dysfunction, so please have your thyroid checked and if the results are out of range send us another post.

Being on Omeprazole for your nausea and indigestion is quite a drastic measure because these drugs cause many more problems than they solve.
Our recommendation would be to remove all grains/sugars, dairy, and processed food from your diet, as these are often found to be highly inflammatory and cause most cases of reflux, and indigestion.
Your nausea is an indication of liver dysfunction so begin taking Livatone Plus - 2 capsules twice daily with or without food, and NAC - 2 capsules twice daily, well away from food with a large glass of water to avoid temporary stomach irritation.
After being on Omeprazole for so long you may not be producing sufficient stomach acid or digestive enzymes so begin taking Dr Cabot's Super Digestive Enzymes is advised, and begin with 1 capsule at the beginning of each meal, and be prepared to vary the dose as needed.
High anxiety levels are often reduced with Magnesium powder or tablets at a dose of 200mg twice daily.
Please be aware that once the Gallbladder has been removed it is recommended that you begin taking 1 to 2 capsules of Ox Bile during each meal, to ensure the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins, and good fats from your diet as well as keeping the lower bowel healthy.

We have recently discovered through an abdominal ultrasound that I have a 4mm polyp. All my blood work and everything is normal. I have had Covid last January 2022 and dealing with long covid since, (fatigue and lack of energy). I have been told to do a (Hida scan) and that will give us more information, thoughts about that? Since having Covid last year, I have had more to remember stomach flare ups..where I am fine all day but one meal (either eat something bad or it upset my stomach) and it makes me rest the whole next day. I am tired of my stomach being in control some days and wondering how to overcome this. I am getting ready to have more bloodwork done for this year and told I need a endoscopy as well. I don't know if it's the gallbladder polyp doing all of this or it's something else. I do have an appt with a gastro doctor coming up. What are your thoughts? Have my gallbladder removed or have more tests to see if the gallbladder polyp is the one causing all of this. I should mention before Covid, I maybe had one or two but not enough to count the times....and I am tired of not being in control of these situations.
gallbladder polyps are common and do NOT cause symptoms. I have discussed them in my gallbladder videos
HIDA scan shows function of gallbladder = if it contracts properly; if it is working why have it out?
you need a correct diagnosis to see if it is gastritis, fatty liver or reflux or bile deficiency
Improve your diet as per my gallbladder videos
I recommend my SUPER DIGESTIVE ENZYME CAPSULES - one or two capsules in middle of your meals

I have a question regarding my liver and no gallbladder issue. I had my gallbladder removed back in 2004. I changed my diet and all was good till recently. I kind of fell off the wagon and ate too much fatty foods and increased my alcohol intake during the holidays. I got back to my healthy eating and exercise but since then, I've had a dull achy pain where my gallbladder use to be at. I also have bile come up with the ache. I have to spit it up to get some relief. The ache has become acute too.
I'm concerned if I'm producing too much bile and if taking bile salts would help or make things worse.
I fast all day too and don't eat till 6pm at night. Could this be causing this problem? My fasting? I also take vitamins, d3, a and iron along with Green Tea Extract Capsules to help with my fibroids. Lots of water too!
Will the recommended supplements help with my condition? Should I take something different because of the bile production. I'm unsure if I'm producing too much bile OR too little.
Thank you for taking the time to read my question!
Have you had an ultrasound scan of your liver ? You could have a fatty liver or a stone in the bile duct; so please have some tests done
It is hard to know if you have bile reflux or too much bile as there are no specific tests for this, so treatment is a bit trial ad error
Stay off alcohol and follow a healthy diet
You need something for your liver and I recommend LIVATONE PLUS 2 capsules twice day
If you are not overweight you do not need extensive fasting, maybe try just missing breakfast and have a freshly made vegetable juice instead
Cheers
Dr Sandra Cabot
you need another ultrasound scan of your liver as you may have stones in liver and/or bile ducts
sometimes liver inflammation occurs after the gallbladder is removed
I think the liverdoctor products are worth trying - Livatone Plus 2 capsules twice day, the Livatone Plus should help to bring your WBC count up, takes 4 to 6 months
Take Oxbile capsules one in middle of a meal if it contains fat
I think also have a heart check - stress ECG to see if the shortness of breath is heart related
you can never be too careful with your health
My ULTIMATE GUT HEALTH POWDER is excellent for heartburn - take one tsp twice day inbetween meals
Dont get discouraged as nutritional medicine works

I just found this website. I am 68 year old female that has been healthy until 5 yrs ago I discovered very high BP; tests showed a functioning adenoma in adrenal gland and that I had developed kidney disease (Stage 3). I am taking spironolactone for this which means only low potassium food which knocks out a lot of healthy foods. Most "healthy" diet plans I can't really follow. Two years ago due to painful serious gallbladder issues, it was removed. I have noticed I can't eat certain foods or they go right through me. I take supplements: Vit D3, Magnesium, Nordic Omega 3 oil, multiple Vit B time released -each daily. I am concerned that I am not absorbing all of the nutrients that I eat. Can the above suggestions of Ox Bile and Digestive Enzyme have any effect on my diseased kidneys?
Thank you,
Paula Horton
High blood pressure is often lowered with sufficient daily Magnesium, and we recommend a minimum of 200mg twice daily, as either powder or tablets.
We are sure you are under the guidance of a medical professional for your functioning adrenal adenoma.
Most foods that are high in potassium are easily removed from the diet, but because you have Stage 3 kidney disease it is important to restrict your intake of proteins.
Do you know what caused your kidney disease?
Ox Bile and Super Digestive Enzymes do not go through the urinary tract so they are both good to take.
It is possible to increase kidney function, and for this we recommend you begin taking Livatone Plus - 2 capsules twice a day, and NAC - 2 capsules twice daily, well away from food with a large glass of water to avoid temporary stomach irritation.
Diets high in sugar, starches and processed foods also place considerable stress on the kidneys, so please remove them from your diet.
Kind regards

If nausea is severe there is a safe medication called Ondansetron - works so well and is safe (but does not treat the cause).
he has colitis so he has autoimmune disease and should follow the diet in my book on HEALING AUTOIMMUNE DISEASE - very important
Azathioprine is a very liver toxic drug!
I recommend he takes LIVATONE PLUS 2 capsules twice day with food and NAC Capsules one capsule twice daily inbetween meals with a whole large glass of water.
to heal his gut inflammation I recommend my ULTIMATE GUT HEALTH POWDER one tsp twice day in water. All these things are designed to prevent symptoms and heal his gut/liver damage.
if he has a meal containing fat he should take OXBILE one capsule in middle of meals
intermittent fasting is excellent and so is raw juicing - see RAW JUICES CAN SAVE YOUR LIFE book - but he may need to dilute juices 50% with water

gallbladder causes pain on right side of upper abdomen and not left side. Left side is the spleen and colon flexure.
Its a pity you dont have his previous blood results?
problem could be his diet
what are his bowel actions like?

if you do not have symptoms this is not needed.
if you watch my videos on gallbladder on www.liverdoctor.com you will see polyps are discussed and so is gallbladder surgery
Generally it is safe to monitor polyps with ultrasound scan every 6 months and only if they are growing do you need to panic. You can always get another opinion from a surgeon as many surgeons just monitor the polyps before deciding to remove gallbladder
the vast majority of polyps are benign
If you take LIVATONE PLUS 4 capsules daily and NAC 2 capsules twice daily with a whole large glass of water inbetween meals the polyp will usually shrink a lot
Fix you diet as per my gallbladder videos = quit sugar and processed foods
do Raw veggie juicing - see my book RAW JUICES CAN SAVE YOUR LIFE

It is far more likely that your endometriosis has been made worse by your present diet.
Your Gallstone is quite small and could quite possibly be easily passed by increasing your bile flow with Livatone Liver Tonic - 2 capsules twice daily, and NAC - 2 capsules twice daily, well away from food with a large glass of water to avoid temporary stomach irritation.
The Rowachol you are taking is designed to soften the Gallstone and with more bile it could be gone quite quickly.
We prefer medical intervention to be the last option, not the first choice.

Dr Cabot has written the book, ‘Save Your Gallbladder Naturally’, to offer you advice to make keeping your Gallbladder and keeping it as healthy as possible.
Gallstones can be softened and dissolved in time.
Most Gallbladder problems originate with Liver congestion, where the liver is producing insufficient or toxic bile.
Livatone Plus is an excellent supplement to encourage improved bile production, although for further benefit Dr Cabot also prescribes
N-Acetyl-Cysteine (NAC 600mg) – 1 to 2 capsules twice daily well away from food, if any upset occurs take at the beginning of your meals. This supplement works well with Livatone Plus to get your liver better faster. This supplement is the precursor nutrient of glutathione; the body’s strongest anti-oxidant.
Ox Bile capsules – 1 - 2 capsules during each meal to replace the bile that is not being delivered to your gallbladder from your liver to help essential fat and fat-soluble vitamin absorption.

I had my gallbladder removed 2 years ago and initially felt good (if I had access to your information I would have fought to keep my gallbladder), I also have benign thyroid nodules but not on medication. I adopted a gluten and dairy free diet following gallbladder removal on the advice of a naturopath but she didn’t mention taking digestive enzymes or Ox bile tablets. I have become quite itchy on my back and arms and was wondering if this was related to issues with my liver. My mother (85) is now palliative having thyroid removed due to cancel, no gallbladder, bile duct cancer and liver disease, I am scared that history is repeating itself with my health and want to do whatever it takes to ensure a healthy quality of life. Would I benefit from taking digestive enzymes and Ox Bile tablets? Are there any potential side effects on other aspects of my health for long term use of
these products and finally, can I purchase through an Australian website to speed up delivery? Sorry for such a long winded explanation and thank you for providing valuable advice that isn’t readily available. Much appreciated
Thyroid nodules are often a result of selenium deficiency.
Dr Cabot’s Thyroid Health Capsules provide selenium, iodine, vitamin D and zinc, which can shrink your nodules.
We also recommend getting an ultrasound scan of your thyroid gland annually.

Most Gall Bladder start back in the liver to begin with. Take a good quality liver tonic such as Livatone. The herbs St Mary’s thistle, dandelion root and globe artichoke leaves all increase bile production and bile flow. Taurine is an amino acid necessary for bile production. This should help to make you feel more comfortable after a meal, and should reduce the risk of stones forming inside your liver.
Also take Super Digestive Enzymes which also contain Ox Bile to help with all the digestive problems.
Dr Cabot also has some wonderful new videos on our website regarding Gall Bladder problems which would be very helpful to you.

It is so sad that most people are not told that the Standard American Diet (SAD) can be held responsible for so many modern illnesses.
Dr Cabot’s 15 Day Cleanse and Maintenance Program is a great way to provide your whole body a quick detox and also an insight as to a very beneficial way to eat for the rest of your life.
Now that you have no Gallbladder it is important to take Ox Bile – 1 to 2 capsules during every meal to replace the concentrated bile that can no longer be delivered to help emulsify and absorb fat soluble vitamins and good dietary fats.
The recommendations above are very likely to assist both ADD and depression, although Magnesium powder or tablets is most likely to bring the relief even faster than the Cleanse alone. Take 200mg twice daily to obtain a good daily dose.

Gallstones can be shrunk and fully dissolved without a Gallbladder flush or the need for surgery in most cases, but considerable changes are necessary.
Dr Cabot’s Gallbladder book covers all the necessary changes required, both dietary and for supplements.
It is necessary to begin taking Ox Bile, Livatone Plus, and NAC to return your liver to best possible health and to rid your Gallbladder of the stones.
Immediately remove all processed foods, sugar and sodas, and toxic seed oils and partially hydrogenated oils (margarines). Begin small amounts of good fats with every meal to stimulate your Gallbladder to contract to replace stagnant bile with fresh concentrate to begin dissolving the stones.

When the Gallbladder is removed the body no longer has a supply of concentrated bile to emulsify and absorb both fat soluble vitamins and dietary fats.
This usually leads to deficiencies of Vitamins A, D, E, and K and supplementation is beneficial to raise the levels quickly.
It is also necessary to take Ox Bile with fat soluble vitamins to optimize their absorption.
The pain in your throat may be associated with your thyroid, and blood tests and an ultrasound are warranted.
The protein your doctor mentioned was probably the protein that is produced in your liver and when there is liver congestion or Fatty Liver it is far more difficult for the liver to make these proteins.
For Fatty Liver please begin taking Livatone Plus and NAC. Begin both at a dose of 1 capsule twice daily and when any detox reactions have stopped increase the dose to 2 capsules twice daily.
Livatone Plus can be taken at any time but NAC is to be taken well away from food with a large glass of water to avoid stomach distress.
Please follow the dietary plan that is found in Dr Cabot’s Fatty Liver book.

Reflux is the usual reason for PPIs to be prescribed although the usual non medication remedy is a change of diet, that excludes dietary items that are inflammatory for you.
We find the most common suspects are any gluten containing foods, dairy foods, legumes, and eggs may also be troublesome.
Now that you don’t have a Gallbladder it means that your bile is no longer able to be concentrated and this makes fat absorption is far more difficult, which usually leads to a softer, lighter stool.
Without concentrated bile you are also far less likely to be able to absorb fat soluble vitamins.
This means you may be becoming deficient in Vitamins A, D, E, and K, which puts your system at a disadvantage.
To improve fat absorption begin taking Ox Bile – 1 to 2 capsules with all meals.
To improve liver health begin taking Livatone Plus and NAC.
Begin both at 1 capsule twice daily and increase to 2 capsules twice daily when any detox reactions have lessened.
NAC is always to be taken well before food with a large glass of water to avoid temporary stomach upset.

Once the Gallbladder is removed you no longer have concentrated bile available to emulsify both good dietary fats and fat-soluble vitamins.
Post cholecystectomy diarrhea is usually associated with eating high fat meals.
Ox Bile replacement may improve the emulsification and reabsorption of the fats in your meal and is likely to reduce steatorrhea.
Best to have testing to determining the cause of the complaints you have begun to experience, although they are typical of fat-soluble vitamin deficiencies.
Vitamins A, D, E, and K are all fat soluble, and the Cholestyramine actively stops bile being reabsorbed so little of these vitamins or fish oil would be absorbed.
Everybody can do with more magnesium powder or tablets – 200mg twice daily as minimum doses.

The Gallbladder concentrates bile that is manufactured in the liver.
Concentrated bile is necessary to emulsify and absorb dietary fats and fat soluble vitamins.
Your loose stool and dry skin indicate poor fat absorption, which may be rectified with 1 to 2 capsules Ox Bile during each meal.
Many of your other symptoms are indicative of fat-soluble vitamin deficiency. Vitamins A, D, E, and K are the fat-soluble group.
Tan to orange stool indicates liver congestion, which may have been responsible for your Gallbladder concerns.
To heal liver, begin taking Livatone Plus – 2 capsules twice daily and NAC – 2 capsules twice daily, well away from food with a large glass of water to avoid temporary stomach irritation.
Diet needs to be altered to a liver friendly, anti-inflammatory one. Dr Cabot’s 15 Day Cleanse and Maintenance Program provides this.
Begin taking Super Vitamin K – 1 capsule daily to supply vitamins D, E, and K. Vitamin A also needs to be taken daily but at a different time of the day.
Take both of these supplements with Fish Oil and a capsule of Ox Bile.

Thanks so much.
Yes indeed, we had the same thought as to what would cause folliculitis to occur so quickly.
After your Gallbladder was removed the ability of your body to concentrate the bile made in the liver was lost.
Concentrated bile is required to emulsify fat soluble vitamins, which often leads to fat soluble vitamin deficiency.
Supplementing with Ox Bile – 1 to 2 capsules with each meal is recommended to replace what has been taken away.
Begin taking supplemental Vitamin A with 2 capsules of Fish Oil and an Ox Bile capsule to raise your blood level as fast as possible.
