Walnut Basil Pesto

Walnut Basil Pesto

Rich in antioxidants, this pesto is delicious served over chicken or fish.

Serves 4

Ingredients

  • 3 cups fresh basil leaves
  • ½ cup raw walnuts
  • ½ cup baby spinach leaves
  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice
  • ½ teaspoon grated lime zest
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil or macadamia nut oil
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Method

Place all ingredients into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
