Apple and Cinnamon Quinoa Porridge
What a great way to start your day! This tasty breakfast delight will get your engines started and keep you powering along until lunch time.
- 2 cups coconut milk, hemp or almond milk
- ½ cup quinoa
- 2 coarsely grated apples
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon whey protein powder
- Soak the quinoa in water overnight. The next day drain and rinse it well under running water.
- Place the quinoa and milk in a pot and cook over low heat until soft and creamy.
- Stir all remaining ingredients into porridge and serve.
