What a great way to start your day! This tasty breakfast delight will get your engines started and keep you powering along until lunch time.

Serves 2


  • 2 cups coconut milk, hemp or almond milk
  • ½ cup quinoa
  • 2 coarsely grated apples
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon whey protein powder


  1. Soak the quinoa in water overnight. The next day drain and rinse it well under running water.
  2. Place the quinoa and milk in a pot and cook over low heat until soft and creamy.
  3. Stir all remaining ingredients into porridge and serve.
