Ingredients

  • 4 cups puffed rice
  • ½ cup hemp seeds
  • ⅓ cup melted coconut oil
  • 1 cup runny tahini
  • 6 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Synd-X Slimming protein powder
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds

Method

  1. Mix the puffed rice and hemp seeds together.
  2. In a bowl, mix the tahini, coconut oil, sweetener and protein powder. Mix until smooth. Pour over puffed rice and hemp seeds.
  3. Mix everything well. If the mixture is too wet, add some protein powder. If too dry, add tahini.
  4. Scrape the mixture into an 8x8 pan and press down firmly. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and place in the freezer for 3 hours.
  5. Cut mixture into bars and store in the fridge or freezer.
