Chewy Rice and Tahini Bars
Ingredients
- 4 cups puffed rice
- ½ cup hemp seeds
- ⅓ cup melted coconut oil
- 1 cup runny tahini
- 6 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons Synd-X Slimming protein powder
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
Method
- Mix the puffed rice and hemp seeds together.
- In a bowl, mix the tahini, coconut oil, sweetener and protein powder. Mix until smooth. Pour over puffed rice and hemp seeds.
- Mix everything well. If the mixture is too wet, add some protein powder. If too dry, add tahini.
- Scrape the mixture into an 8x8 pan and press down firmly. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and place in the freezer for 3 hours.
- Cut mixture into bars and store in the fridge or freezer.
