Chocolate Chia Dessert
Serves 4
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups almond or hemp milk
- 1/3 cup chia seeds
- 3 tablespoons carob or cacao powder
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
- Approximately 10 drops liquid stevia
- 1/3 cup blueberries
- 1/3 cup slivered almonds
Method
- Place all ingredients except the blueberries and pecans into a large bowl. Whisk them vigorously for 2 minutes. Let the mixture stand for 5 minutes and then whisk again for a minute.
- Stir the blueberries and pecans into the mixture and pour it into 4 serving bowls.
- Cover the bowls and place them in the fridge overnight. Serve the next day for breakfast or dessert.
