Serves 1


  • ½ cup rolled oats
  • ¾ cup almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • ¼ cup flaked or slivered almonds, or finely chopped almonds
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract


  1. Place the oats and almond milk into a small pot and cook gently over medium heat. Stir regularly and add a little more milk if the mixture becomes too thick.
  2. Cook until the oats have softened to your liking.
  3. Stir in the vanilla, almond butter and chopped nuts, and enjoy.
