Creamy Almond Butter Porridge
- ½ cup rolled oats
- ¾ cup almond milk
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- ¼ cup flaked or slivered almonds, or finely chopped almonds
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Place the oats and almond milk into a small pot and cook gently over medium heat. Stir regularly and add a little more milk if the mixture becomes too thick.
- Cook until the oats have softened to your liking.
- Stir in the vanilla, almond butter and chopped nuts, and enjoy.
