A deliciously indulgent snack that’s high in heart-healthy monounsaturated fat.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups raw, unsalted macadamia nuts
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon macadamia nut oil

Method

  • Preheat the oven to 355 degrees F.
  • Arrange the nuts on a lined baking tray and roast them for approximately 8 minutes, or until lightly golden. The cooking time will depend on the size of the nuts. Watch them carefully so they don’t become too brown.
  • Combine all remaining ingredients in a bowl. Pour the hot nuts into the bowl, and cover them well with the oil and spice mixture.
  • Put the coated nuts back in the oven for up to 5 more minutes.
  • Serve nuts warm.
