Cumin Roasted Macadamia Nuts
A deliciously indulgent snack that’s high in heart-healthy monounsaturated fat.
Ingredients
- 2 cups raw, unsalted macadamia nuts
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon macadamia nut oil
Method
- Preheat the oven to 355 degrees F.
- Arrange the nuts on a lined baking tray and roast them for approximately 8 minutes, or until lightly golden. The cooking time will depend on the size of the nuts. Watch them carefully so they don’t become too brown.
- Combine all remaining ingredients in a bowl. Pour the hot nuts into the bowl, and cover them well with the oil and spice mixture.
- Put the coated nuts back in the oven for up to 5 more minutes.
- Serve nuts warm.
