Grain Free Walnut Brownies
These brownies taste just like your childhood brownies, except packed with healthy fats, omega 3s from the walnuts and are grain free!
Ingredients
- ¼ cup almond flour
- ¼ cup tapioca flour
- ½ cup almond butter
- 2 eggs, whisked
- ½ cup melted coconut oil
- ½ cup cacao or cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ cup roasted walnuts, chopped
- 2 teaspoons Sweetener of choice: stevia, xylitol, honey, maple syrup or rice malt syrup
Method
- Preheat the over to 350ºF.
- Place all ingredients into a large bowl and mix well with a wooden spoon.
- Pour mixture into a cake or brownie tin and bake for approximately 20 minutes.
