Healthy Choc Coconut Slice
A combination of chocolate and coconut – what’s not to love?
Ingredients
- 1 cup almond meal
- 1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
- ¼ cup honey or maple syrup
- ½ cup liquid coconut oil
- 3 heaped tablespoons cacao or cocoa powder
- ¼ cup roasted walnuts, finely diced
- 1 tablespoon vanilla paste
Method
- Place all ingredients into a bowl and mix. If the mixture is too dry, add a little more coconut oil.
- Press the mixture into a small lined cake tin and place in the freezer for approximately 10 minutes to set.
- Cut mixture into squares and store them in an airtight container in the fridge.
