A combination of chocolate and coconut – what’s not to love?

Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond meal
  • 1 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • ¼ cup honey or maple syrup
  • ½ cup liquid coconut oil
  • 3 heaped tablespoons cacao or cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup roasted walnuts, finely diced
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla paste

Method

  • Place all ingredients into a bowl and mix. If the mixture is too dry, add a little more coconut oil.
  • Press the mixture into a small lined cake tin and place in the freezer for approximately 10 minutes to set.
  • Cut mixture into squares and store them in an airtight container in the fridge.
