Hemp seeds are an excellent source of protein and beneficial fatty acids

Ingredients

  • 1 cup hemp seeds
  • 1/3 cup flaxseeds
  • 1 ½ cups unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • ½ cup coconut butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons goji berries

Method

  1. Place the hemp seeds, flaxseeds and sesame seeds into a food processor and pulse until partly ground but the mixture still has a rough texture.
  2. Place all ingredients into a bowl and mix well.
  3. Press the mixture into an 8 x 8 inch baking tin and refrigerate until firm. Once firm, slice into bars.
