Ingredients

  • 3 cups chopped fresh basil
  • 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ cup pine nuts
  • 6 Brazil nuts
  • 2 tablespoons minced fresh garlic
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Directions

  1. Place the basil in a blender. Add 1 tablespoon of the oil, and blend mixture into a paste. Gradually add pine nuts, Brazil nuts, garlic, and remaining oil. Continue to blend the mixture until it is smooth.
