Diabetes type 2 is able to be reversed with well-defined dietary changes, as outlined in Dr Cabot’s wonderful book, ‘Diabetes Type 2: You Can reverse It Naturally, alternatively you may choose to undertake a low carbohydrate cleansing and we are delighted to let you know that Dr Cabot has recently released her 15 Day Cleanse - Two weeks to begin your journey toward improved overall health and function, utilising both supplements and a tasty, easy to prepare dietary regimen. Please go to www.drcabotcleanse.com to place an order.
After completing the Cleanse, we recommend you remain on this style of eating and you can then begin the Maintenance plan that is available at the same website.
As a diabetic, we recommend you have an abdominal ultrasound to exclude the possibility of Fatty Liver.
To reduce the incidence of cravings of carbohydrates and make the dietary changes far easier, Dr Cabot prescribes

Not at all; what are bad and stressful for the liver are alcohol, sugars, grains and other high carbohydrate foods.
Highly processed foods tend to be the most stressful.
Highly oxidized and heated oils that are liquid at room temperature are very stressful on the liver but the fats encouraged in our Keto Program are health some for the liver, digestive system and whole body.
