Low Carb Roasted Sunflower Seeds
Ingredients
- 1 cup raw sunflower seeds
- 1 tablespoon tamari or coconut aminos
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
- ¼ teaspoon dried garlic granules
- ¼ teaspoon dried onion granules
Method
- Preheat the oven to 300° F. Roast the sunflower seeds on a lined oven tray for 10 minutes.
- Place the toasted sunflower seeds in a small bowl. Add the tamari or coconut aminos, salt, garlic and onion granules. Stir to combine well.
- Raise the oven temperature to 325° F.
- Place the mixture back onto the oven tray and roast for an additional 5 to 10 minutes. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
- Serve as a snack and enjoy.
