Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw sunflower seeds
  • 1 tablespoon tamari or coconut aminos
  • ½ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon dried garlic granules
  • ¼ teaspoon dried onion granules

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 300° F. Roast the sunflower seeds on a lined oven tray for 10 minutes.
  2. Place the toasted sunflower seeds in a small bowl. Add the tamari or coconut aminos, salt, garlic and onion granules. Stir to combine well.
  3. Raise the oven temperature to 325° F.
  4. Place the mixture back onto the oven tray and roast for an additional 5 to 10 minutes. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
  5. Serve as a snack and enjoy.
